Thanksgiving weekend

This year we spent Thanksgiving at Dj's grandpa's house with all of his family, it was really nice and a good time! Dj was in charge of putting the dinner together and his cousins and sister helped out a ton and they all did a really good job. I didnt really take pictures while at the dinner but I took pictures before with Jaxon in his super cute outfit and then just some rescent pictures of him because he is getting so big!! Hope everyone else had a really good Thanksgiving and I sure cant wait for Christmas!!!

Jaxons first Halloween

Halloween was really fun this year! Not only did I get to dress up bear but this year I also got to dress up Jaxon and might I say he was the cutest little dragon ever! Since everyone else was in costumes I rounded up some things my mom had and made a costume for me. I sure felt like I was 5 in my costume but it was fun! Since Jaxon is still too young to go trick or treating we just hung out at the house with the family. Jaxon's cousins Colton, Sydnee, and Haylee came over to show off their costumes too. It sure was good to be home for a Halloween for once, but we were missing one person and wish daddy could have been there to dress up with us, we miss him lots!

JAXONS FIRST HAIR CUT!!

Jaxon got to the point that he was looking like Ernie from Seasame Street with his crazy hair. It was way cute but I decided it needed to be cut. My mom held him on her lap while I cut it with Dj's clippers. Jaxon did so good!! He didn't cry, he just kept trying to see what I was doing so we had to hold his head still. Dj was worried that I would mess it up but he said himself that I did good. Go mom!!!

Oh how time flies. Our little man is now 3 months old. He is getting happier and happier everyday and is so much fun! He can hold his head up all by himself now and is smiling all the time. He loves playing with his jungle play mat, going on walks with mom and bear, and watching football with his dad. I will turn on cartoons for him to look at all the colors and he wont watch it for very long but when football is on, he wont take his eyes off the screen. Like father like son! Jaxon weighs 15 lbs now and is our little chunkster!! Before we know it he will be crawling everywhere and we cant wait, love you buddy!!

Jaxon at 2 months old!

Jaxon is two months old now and it has gone by so fast, before we know it he will be crawling! He was born at 7 lbs 11 oz and now weighs 13 lbs 6 oz so he has almost doubled his weight. He is getting such a personality, smiling and always wanting to be held. He has started to sleep through the night for the past few nights so hopefully he keeps that going! We are so grateful for him to be in our lives, we love him so much and couldn't be happier!

Our trip to Las Vegas

So we recently made our way down to Vegas to go visit Dj's family and so that they could finally see Jaxon!! We left Thursday morning and came back Sunday night. Even though our time there was short, we had so much fun with all our family and friends. Our flights went really well with a young baby because he just ate on the way up and on the way down, then just laid there the rest of the flight! Nothing like dealing with a two year old on a flight, that would be hard. On Saturday Dj's parents through a bbq party for Jaxon so all the family could meet him and some of our friends. As always Dj's dads bbqing was amazing!!!! I have never had better meat then his! While we were there Jaxon was definitely a hit. Everyone couldn't believe how big he was but if they could only see him now!! Crazy how fast they grow. We just wanted to thank everyone in Vegas, we appreciate them so much and love them so much! Hopefully we will be visiting again soon.

Bear Lake

Over the 24th of July our family went to bear lake. The rest of the family went on Wednesday but Dj and I had to wait until friday because he had to work and we didn't really wanna be there that long with a month old baby, just in case. Dj and I left early friday morning and we decided not to take bear so Amber and Kevin watched him while we were gone, so sad to leave him but he had fun! We were also having fun up at the lake!! We went to the beach everyday and lots of tubing, wake boarding and skiing and I haven't done that in about three years. A lot has changed since then lol I didn't thing having a baby could change your body that much but oh man I have sympathy now! Dj, Jaxon and I all slept in a tent but Jaxon surprisingly did really good! It was a great way to spend the last weekend that Paul and Ang were in town and we had so much fun!!

Blessing Day!

This last Sunday, July 5, 2009 was an amazing day! We had the opportunity to have Jaxon blessed. We were so grateful to have my dad, a couple of my brothers and paul participate in the blessing. All of the my brothers and sisters were in town so it was a great weekend to have everyone be apart of the blessing. Unfortunately Dj's family is all the way in Vegas and could not be here but we sure were thinking of them and cant wait to go visit everyone in the beginning of August. He looked so cute in his little outfit and all around it was just a good day! Dj was so proud of his son as well was I and I am so grateful to have these two in my life and fall in love with each of them each day we spend together!
